Statement of Purpose: Assist and promote health service-related Chamber-member businesses to participate fully in Chamber activities and share related information with each other and the Chamber/community.
Meetings: Meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 12:00 pm at Avera Queen of Peace.
- Health & Wellness Fair. The Annual Health and Wellness Fair, sponsored by the Mitchell Chamber Health Services Committee, draws up to 1,000 attendees each year and offers a variety of health screenings including full lipid profile, blood sugar, blood pressure, prostate screening, bone density, and blood typing. In addition, the Health & Wellness Fair offers a variety of children’s activities designed to promote physical activity, nutrition, and safety at home and at school.
The 20th Annual Chamber Health & Wellness Fair was held
Saturday, February 2 at Mitchell Christian School
Over 30 vendors participated with over 1,000 people in attendance. The day was filled with entertainment by Veryl Hohn, Avera's - Get Fit While You Sit, Ultimate Kicks Tae Kwon Do, Xtreme Cheerleading as well as First Class Wellness.

We would also like to thank the DWU Football team, DWU Nursing students as well as the MTI students for their help with the fun centers, 5K, setup and cleanup. We couldn't have done it without you!
Frozen Foot 5K Fun Run Held
The first Annual Frozen Foot 5K Fun Run was held Saturday, February 2 in conjunction with the Chamber Health & Wellness Fair.
Over 20 people ventured out in the snow for a chilly run.
Women's Division: 1st place - Carla Snedeker; 2nd place - Jessica Sibson, 3rd place - Jenna Linke
Men's Division: 1st place (tie) - Stuart Rothschadl, Masafumi Takagi; 2nd place - Craig Freidel; 3rd place - Andrew Schmaltz
Overall Winners: 1st place (tie) - Stuart Rothschadl, Masafumi Takagi; 2nd place - Carla Snedeker; 3rd place - Craig Freidel
