    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Support and promote a positive work environment, continuous improvement culture and positive community relations

    Provide front office support including greeting visitors and managing incoming/outgoing mail

    Serve as on-site HR resource for all employees at the complex, with direction and support from Corporate HR Staff

    Maintain employee confidence through accurate HR processes and compliance with federal, state and local regulations and laws

    Protect human resources operations by keeping information confidential

    Support implementation and interpretation of HR policies and procedures; deliver information in a timely and clear manner

    Ensure distribution of required employee notices

    Respond to employee issues and concerns by bringing forward to Director of HR; partner with investigations, as needed

    Conduct new hire orientation, in alignment with company objectives, to create positive experience for new hire

    Assist employees with benefits orientation and enrollment

    Plan and coordinate employee meetings/events (i.e. - communications, meal coordination, room preparation)

    Maintain and organize electronic records and office filings, as needed

    Order, receive, and stock supplies, submitting purchase orders and invoices when necessary

    Provide administrative support to managers and corporate staff

    Assist in vendor bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing or expense tracking

    Provide back-up support for other areas, as needed

    Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal work load.

    Qualifications

    Degree in Business or Human Resources, preferred; or comparable education and/or experience

    Three (3) years of experience in an HR-related role, with knowledge of relevant employment legislation, preferred

    Experience in a high-volume, multi-location environment, preferred

    Experience with HRIS and/or payroll processing system

    High level of proficiency, accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality

    Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Advanced written and verbal communication skills with high level of professionalism 

    Strong sense of initiative and problem-solving with the ability to manage time and deadlines with little supervision

    Travel up to 10%, annually
