The Mitchell School District is seeking a dynamic and experienced High School Principal to lead our educational team and manage the daily operations of our high school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to student success.

- Lead the development and implementation of academic programs and curriculum to ensure student success
- Manage and mentor teaching staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Monitor student progress and provide support to students who are struggling academically or personally
- Foster a positive and safe learning environment that promotes inclusivity and diversity
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to ensure that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed
- Manage the school's budget and resources effectively to achieve academic and operational goals
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to school management
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Knowledge of educational best practices and educational experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
- Work collaboratively with others and explore innovative solutions for a continued sense of community
- Use the MSD evaluation model to provide feedback and support, and ultimately contribute to the success of the individual and the organization
