The LEAD Youth Engagement Specialists spend their day nurturing and guiding young people and supporting child care staff members as they work with youth to complete their daily activities. Lead YES’ have leadership skills that enable them to help motivate and coach staff. Working with youth as they learn and grow is one of the best features of this position.
Wage Range Starts at $18.50/hour based on experience. A complete benefit package is included for full-time employees.

Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but willing to train individuals interested in working with youth. Less experience may be accepted if an applicant has a demonstrated superior knowledge and skill.
- Ability to motivate, provide leadership, and work cooperatively with other professionals and employees of the Agency.
- Ability to effectively interact with sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences in the client population.
- Provide direct therapeutic services and insure safety and wellbeing to all youth in our care.
- Familiarity with program expectations and staff implementation of program coordination.
- Maintain positive communication with parents, referring agencies and collateral agency resources which includes preparing timely and accurate documentation.
- Intervention in crisis situations by responding appropriately.
