Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, install insulation on sheet metal parts to be used for assembly of geothermal units and install tops, doors and accessories, such as filter racks and flanges, on units.
Qualifications
- Ability to use air drill, scissors, block, mallet, box cutter/knife and be able to split insulation and pull it
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, organization skills, and reliable
- Must be accurate, meticulous, and get things done in a timely manner, while focusing on overall quality of all geothermal units
- Continuously stand; walk, bend/stoop, use hands to bend, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height
- Must be able to work with little supervision in a fast-paced, assembly line manner
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen & adhere to drug-free workplace policy
- Comfortable doing repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and position requires being on your feet and standing 95% of shift
- Must successfully pass pre-work screen, physical requirements, and demands of the job including grip strength, hand coordination, lifting, rotational standing
- Must have the ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Must be able to prioritize and organize work load to meet deadlines and customer orders
- Good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean and organized work area to keep our entire facility clean
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Must wear safety glasses at all times on production floor and follow all safety guidelines as set-forth by the company
- Entire shift will be inside conditions, temperature controlled, with protections from weather conditions
- There are moderate noise levels with tools and other shop noises
- Must be capable of performing the above essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
