Performs general, overall maintenance, service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, welding, machine servicing, electrical, vehicle and forklift servicing.
Qualifications
- Ability to maintain records accurately and handle quality requirements
- Must be able to drive forklift(s) and successfully pass company forklift required training
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. REGULARY AND HANDLE 80 lbs. occasionally, floor to waist
- Ability to weld/braze and use other maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform general carpentry
- Ability to perform general plumbing
- Knowledge of 1 and 3 phase electrical, industrial electricity, AC/DC a must
- Knowledgeable of safety requirements including OSHA standards
- Continuously stand; walk; bend/stoop, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk; and hear
- Experience with fabrication, welding, brazing, cutting, & maintenance practices
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicle
- Experience in a manufacturing plant environment is a plus
- Knowledge of PLC's, motor control, and VFD required
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF Files
- Must be able to read electrical and engineering prints
- EPA Section 608 Certified or ability to be trained to become certified
