    Job Description
    Objective of Position: Maintain and repair all plant facilities, machinery and equipment.
     
    Principal Responsibilities:
    1. Perform minor preventative maintenance duties on vehicles, forklifts, all factory equipment, and all facility equipment.
    2. Perform minor maintenance on hydraulic systems
    3. Perform minor maintenance on electrical/electronic systems including building and company equipment
    4. Maintains accurate inventory of parts and supplies for maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities.
    5. Assist Maintenance Technician II and III personnel with major maintenance projects as directed
    6. Assist in maintaining a high level of 5S in the department
    7. Assume additional responsibilities as needed
     
    Position Qualifications:
    1. Must have work experience in welding, metal fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, mechanics, and/or electrical wiring.
    2. 1 year manufacturing work experience

    1. Must be able to work up to a 12 hour shift.
    2. Must have ability to work from heights up to 25 ft.
    3. While performing duties of job, employee is required to: stand, kneel, walk, sit, climb, bend, and twist; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
    4. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    5. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
    6. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.
    7. Upon initial assignment to an area where hazardous waste will be handled, training of management of hazardous waste must be conducted within six months of start date
    8. Annual training is required for management of hazardous waste including a review of the company contingency plan
