    Job Description

    Vantage Point Solutions, a growing and dynamic telecommunications consulting and engineering firm, is seeking a qualified individual to join our team of professionals. We have an immediate opening for a Contract Administration Specialist at our headquarters in Mitchell, SD.

    Job Brief
    The primary function of the Contract Administration Specialist is facilitating the contract bidding process, creation of contracts between our clients and the construction vendors, validating and approving contractor invoices and facilitating the project closeout process.  Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this position.

    Responsibilities
    • Creation of PreFielding Notes (Pre and Post meeting) and coordination of the PreFielding Conference;
    • Creation of the contract(s) using the appropriate format;
    • Facilitating the Quality Assurance reviews utilizing the established Contract Review Checklist through multiple levels of review;
    • Acquiring PE approval, signature and stamp for the appropriate jurisdiction;
    • Creation of all bidding documents; facilitating the PreBid Conference and the Bid Opening and Notification of Bid Award according to the applicable requirements; 
    • Completion of the Contract for the awarded or negotiated contractor and acquiring all necessary signatures and approvals;
    • Requesting and validating monthly invoicing tabs, communication of validated invoicing tabs to the appropriate contractors for generation of a monthly invoice, validation of the contractor invoices and approval to the client for payment;
    • Creation and processing of Unit Price Requests or Contract Amendments as required;
    • Creation of contract closeout documents and acquiring of all necessary signatures and approvals;
    • Other duties as assigned;

    Requirements
    Preferred but not required:
    • Telecom experience;
    • Experience with legal contracts and contractual language;
     
    Required:
    • Experience using Microsoft Office;
    • Detail and Results Oriented;
    • Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills;
