DWU named to Prairie Business list of 2023’s 50 Best Places to Work
MITCHELL, S.D. — Dakota Wesleyan University has been named to the Prairie Business magazine’s list of 50 Best Places to Work for 2023. The list was announced Sept. 7.
Employees throughout the region nominated their companies, highlighting some of the reasons they believe make their place of business a great place to work. Topics included workplace culture, opportunities for employee growth, teamwork and individual responsibility, and employee morale, among others.
In all, Prairie Business received more than 1,500 nominations. Five of the fifty are located in South Dakota.
“This is a fun edition to work on as we read about so many excellent companies in our region,”
said Prairie Business Editor Carrie McDermott. “It’s great to see the many companies who have
been here before, but also exciting to see some new names on the list. This goes to show that
there definitely are some outstanding companies in our region as well as passionate employees
who are proud to work there.”
This year’s 50 Best are highlighted in the September issue of the magazine, which also is available as an e-edition at prairiebusinessmagazine.com.
